Wout Van Damme CEO
Wout founded Funbox in 2003 shortly after relocating to Australia from The Netherlands, and is CEO of the Funbox Media Group organization. Wout built the company from the ground up , and has lead the organization through the various growth stages. The company has been profitable since its first year of operations and has grown without outside funding. Prior to Funbox Wout has served in various sales and marketing roles at KPN Mobile, the largest mobile carrier in The Netherlands.
Wout holds a bachelor degree in Marketing from the Hogeschool van Utrecht in The Netherlands and a post graduate diploma from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Sydney Australia.
Sanjaya Molligoda President & CRO
Sanjaya joined Funbox in 2005 after a successful career as an independent advertising consultant. Initially Sanjaya joined Funbox as Head of Digital Marketing, but after rapidly growing the company for two years, he was offered a partnership and become an owner in 2007. He is focused on the performance and operations side of the business, with an emphasis on customer acquisitions and ROI.
Sanjaya is a certified Medical Doctor (Doctor of Medicine) with a Masters in IT & Finance from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
John Childs-Eddy VP, Strategy & Business Development
John joined Funbox after a successful career as a Senior SEO/SEM & Social Media Consultant to enterprise clients in North America. At Funbox he is responsible for leading the execution of integrated advertising solutions for Funbox's largest clients.
John is currently completing his MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management
Manuela Vierheller Director of International Business Development
Manuela joined Funbox from Germany, where she now Heads up Sales in Funbox's Sydney, Australia Headquarters. Manuela is detail oriented sales leader, and works constantly to keep her team in touch with its client base. Prior to joining Funbox she worked with German Ad Networks EasyAd and C4 Media.
Manuela has a BA in Marketing from DAA, Wiesbaden.
Zoubeir Achour Director of US Business Development
Zoubeir joined Funbox after years of experience in various key positions where he was involved in sales, business development and market research. Zoubeir is an online marketing expert and an early adopter of the online ad exchange space, implementing, and selling a complex, nascent exchange technology and marketplace to his client base. He is able to juggle multiple assignments and articulate to his clients their analysis while never losing sight of the big picture. Zoubeir leads Funbox's business/advertiser development division in the U.S.
Zoubeir has an MBA from the Golden Gate University, San Francisco.
Dennis Gesumaria Director of Publisher Development
Dennis joined Funbox after several years of gaining valuable experience working with Yahoo, IBM, and most recently Invite Media (before Google acquired it in 2010). Dennis is responsible for client yield and ad content/quality. He is also leads Funbox's New York office.
Dennis has a BA in Economics & Psychology from New York University
Richard Buggy CTO
Richard is CTO of Funbox. Before moving into management he spent fifteen years building a multitude of every imaginable website and application. Rich now leads Funbox's development team, building tracking and billing systems for clients.
Rich regularly presents at local user groups and conference and has a Bachelor of Arts (Computing), with a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Macquarie Univeristy.
Ramshah Shariff Head of Finance
Ramshah brought to Funbox several years experience in all matters finance. Over 10 years of which were gained from the offices of a chartered accounting firm and 4 years as CFO of International Sports Clothing. Ramshah had also been company accountant to several Singaporean and Australian entities including The Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust.
Ramshah attended the National Institute of Commerce in Singapore, and B.Comm (Accounting) University of NSW in Australia.
Paul Soultis Senior Creative Director
Paul has been Funbox's Creative Director since 2005. As Creative Director, Paul utilizes his experience to push himself and his team to create original, cutting edge design. Paul has worked with many smaller, as well as Blue Chip brands over the years including, Sony, Fox Entertainment, Colgate, Ferrero, Optus, and Qantas.
Paul has an advanced Diploma in Graphic Design & Certificate in Web Design from the Northern Sydney Institute Hornsby College.
